Packing of Temporary Fence Adherence to Sea Freight Regulations

1. ISPM 15 Compliance
   • All wooden packaging materials, including pallets and wooden boxes, are treated to meet ISPM 15 standards. This ensures that our shipments are free from pests and comply with international phytosanitary regulations.
2. IMO Cargo Guidelines
   • All pallets are secured with durable strapping and wrapped in stretch film to meet IMO standards for safe maritime transport. These measures prevent movement or damage during sea transit.

Packing of Temporary Fence panels

Each 40HC container needs 4 metal stillages to load temporary fencing panels. Each metal pallet holds 120-125 panels, with an extra 60-30 panels loaded in bulk. The flattened ends of the four fence tubes maximize container space.

Two methods are commonly used for packing temporary fence clamps:

Separate Packing

• Pack clamps in paper cartons, each holding 100 pairs.
• Pack bolts and nuts in plastic woven bags, each containing 100 pieces.

Pre-Assembled Packing

• Pre-assemble bolts and clamps and pack them in paper cartons, each holding 50 pairs.
• Pack clamps in individual plastic bags when requested by customers.

Label each carton with the quantity and arrange all cartons neatly in fumigation-treated wooden boxes or on pallets. Wrap the pallets with plastic film and secure them with strapping.

• Pallet Sizes:
  • Small pallet: 600mm x 1000mm, holding 40 bases (4 rows of 10 pieces).

• Stacking Height: The overall pallet height is approximately 1200mm.
• Additional Stability: In some cases, two vertical tubes are welded onto the pallet, passing through the holes in the bases to enhance alignment and stability.
• Final Steps: Strapping is applied in four directions to secure the load, and the pallet is wrapped with stretch film for a professional appearance.
