As an essential part of BMP’s temporary fencing range, the temporary fence wind bracing strengthens and stabilizes fence panels. This reinforcement keeps the panels stable even in strong winds.
Use Temporary Fence Stays to maintain stability on extended fence runs. Stays are especially useful when attaching shade cloth, as they help keep the fence upright in high wind conditions.
Temporary Fence Bracing stays provide structural support to stabilize fence panels, especially in windy or high-stress situations. These stays maintain the upright position and stability of fencing, which proves essential on long fence runs or when adding items like shade cloth, banners, or signs that increase wind load.
Manufacturers make bracing stays from strong, durable materials, like galvanized steel, for corrosion resistance and durability in harsh conditions. Each stay installs at intervals along the fence line, connecting securely to both the fence panels and the ground, reinforcing the fence against lateral forces.

Why Use Temporary Fence Bracing / Stays?
There are several important reasons to include stays when purchasing temporary fencing:
They add strength and stability to fencing panels.
Lightweight, making them easy to install or move, while still providing strong performance.
Keep temporary fences upright in windy conditions.
Hot-dip galvanized for durability and corrosion resistance.
Easy to install and dismantle, saving valuable time.
Designed to withstand the most severe site conditions.
Complies with Australian Standards A.S. 4687-2007, ensuring suitability for harsh Australian climates.
Temporary Fence Bracing Installation
Temporary fence support stays are essential when shade cloth, large site signage, or banners are attached along the temporary fence line. They also provide additional stability when double or single access gates are required through the temporary fence.
Each heavy-duty bracing bracket can support up to 3 Temporary Fence Feet, with a total weight of approximately 78kg-96kg kg (including the bracket weight). This setup provides substantial stability to the temporary fence panels when positioned at appropriate intervals along the fence line.
Installation Guidelines:
Fence bracing must be installed before adding shade cloth, banner mesh, or large signs.
Clients are advised to conduct their own wind impact assessment to ensure stability under expected wind conditions.
For long runs of temporary fencing, it is recommended to install a standard brace every 6 panels.
Compliance and Safety Note:
Bracing installation must adhere to BMP Fencing Systems Test Certificate AS 4687:2007
Fence bracing must not interfere with pedestrian walkways or trafficked areas to ensure safety and accessibility.
By following these guidelines, BMP’s temporary fence bracing offers a robust solution for maintaining stability and safety in challenging conditions.

Components of the Temporary Fence Brace System:
Temporary Fence Bracing/Stays (1 pc):
The brace or stay forms the main support structure in the system, crafted from durable, galvanized steel tubing. Its angled design improves stability by distributing pressure along the fence line, which helps prevent panels from toppling. Each brace handles heavy loads and withstands harsh conditions, meeting industry standards for safety and durability.
Temporary Fence Blocks (1 pcs -3 pcs):
These heavy-duty blocks anchor the brace to the ground, creating a solid foundation for the fencing structure. Manufacturers use high-density materials, like concrete or filled plastic, to ensure each block holds substantial weight. With 1-3 blocks per brace which weight around 25kg -100kg , the setup gains extra stability, particularly in windy environments, as the blocks anchor both the brace and fence panel ends securely.

Temporary Fence Clamps (3 pair):
The clamps secure the brace to the fence panels, forming a strong connection that keeps the brace attached and eliminates any wobbling or separation. Each brace uses two clamps—one at the top and one at the bottom—to ensure even force distribution. Made from high-quality galvanized steel, the clamps resist corrosion, install easily, and can be tightened or removed as needed, offering versatility for different fence heights and configurations. For the temporary fence brace, use two pairs of clamps at the bottom and one pair at the top for added stability and secure attachment.
